Simon H: Just managed to shoot this video footage of the Red Kite down in the country park.

SCP: That’s beautiful! Unfortunately I can’t upload video to the website without a costly upgrade. I am struggling with a work-around and will get back to you. In the meantime, if you email the video to friendsofscp@outlook.com, I will file it for future use.

Simon H: I will have to have a play with that later. Sorry, the video is too large to attach to an email so I will need to find out if my phone can compress it in some way

SCP: If you access the video in your phone’s gallery or photo file, it should give you a URL; if you send me the URL, I will be able to access the video somewhere in the cloud and download it from there. Maybe.

Simon H: Hopefully the link will work for you. I’ve sent it to your email address.

SCP: So far, so good: I have the video. Let me think a while…

SCP: I have uploaded it to YouTube (unlisted of course) because I can embed a YouTube video into a post on the website without that costly upgrade. Now, all I have to do is work out how to use YouTube’s editing suite. Any time soon(ish) it will appear on the website…

Simon H: Thank you and I’m glad you can use the video. It’s only the second time I have ever seen a Red Kite and it was lovely to watch it.
