Fallen tree

The way into the Park from School Lane, Southwick, is completely blocked by a fallen tree.

Hello
I live in School Lane, the house next to the Country Park. While having a look round our garden to check damage from the winds I noticed there is a quite large tree down in the walkway entrance to the park. If it was small we would go & move it out the way ourselves but this is too big for us to help. Thought we better let you know, though you might have already been told.

We have just picked up the email for the above problem. Phil is going over to School Lane (he lives closer than I do) in about an hour at 11.00am to take a look to see if it is an FoSCP problem and if we can clear it.
I will update you as we go.

Phil had a look at the fallen tree and it does not appear to be in the reserve. It was lying across the lane and blocking the access over the style.
However as a good neighbour he has cut back some of the tree for access in the lane. He met the people who reported it and because it needs a chainsaw to complete the clearing has told them we will aim to cut it up and clear it at next Wednesday’s work party
