Church Lane’s wildlife

“In regards to your request for an insight into the wildlife that lives in and visits surrounding areas, we live off of Church Lane. We have lived here for 6 years and see a constant array of wildlife. We are visited by foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels, snakes, shrews, voles and bats. We have a huge variety of bees, hornets, butterflies, moths and dragonflies visit us.”

“We lie in bed and can hear several species of owls. We have common newts and a variety of frogs and toads living in our garden. Over the years we have been visited by a range of birds including greater spotted woodpeckers and partridges. We also enjoy watching the land being used by deer.”

“I just want to say a big thank you for your hard work in trying to secure the future of the Lambrook stream in the proposed housing development.”
