LONG TERM RESIDENTS

Slow worm - protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981. Priority species under the UK Post-2010 Biodiversity Framework.

Snake's head fritillary - vulnerable, on the Vascular Plant Red Data List for Great Britain.

UK Conservation status: Amber. Protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
