Work Report by DKG
A lovely warm day greeted the FoSCP, meeting up in the car park for our 9:30am start with Alison from the Countryside Team. A warm welcome was extended to Sasha, a new volunteer; we hope you enjoy your time with us Sasha.
Due to the heat and the sunshine it was decided to keep the tasks where possible in the shade.
Today’s tasks were path clearing and removal of the ever creeping brambles. Most of this work was carried out in the Arboretum and the footpaths through the copse and leading into Kestrel field; shady work under the trees.
At Fiveways, near the picnic area, the path leading to the Wildlife Wheel was cut back as well as the path opposite, that leads into Kestrel Field.
