Wild About Gardens

The Wildlife Trusts and the Royal Horticultural Society have set up a website called Wild About Gardens. Its focus is wildlife gardening and it encourages people to use their gardens to help support nature. This year they are all about beetles.

Some of the park’s many species of Coleoptera [1] bloody nosed beetle, [2] sailor beetle, [3] lily beetle, [4] sixteen spot lady bird, [5] harlequin ladybirds hibernating in the park’s noticeboard [6] carved lady bird from the Wildlife Wheel.
