  1. There are some beautiful butterflies around at the moment but in fewer numbers and varieties than i remember in the past!

    1. Ian conducts regular surveys in the park for Wiltshire Butterfly Conservation: search for TRANSECT using the website’s search button on the main menu. Last year there were a lot of butterflies in the park, this year not so many but the long-term national trend is downwards. The UK is losing butterfly habitat all the time.

  2. Beautiful, here are a few of my not so good attempts taken in the park this weekend.
