We don’t often see ducks on our big pond. These are male mallards perhaps pausing in the reserve on their way to wider waters on either the Avon or the Biss.
We have two male mallards that visit us for food on the Lambrok behind us on Chantry Gardens. Could they be the same ones?They usually have a female with them, but I think she may be on a nest somewhere at the moment.
They’ve been around for a couple of years.
They could well be the same ones. Mallards are creatures of habit.
