We ask that dogs be kept under control and always within sight of their owner. If your dog is off-lead, please don’t let it chase our wildlife or dig holes in pursuit of our precious (and protected) water voles. And, of course, always clear up after your dog: there are waste bins around the central path to make that easier.
The park is improving as habitat all the time and the number of species that grow or live here gets bigger every day. There are orchids in Village Green now, helleborines seeding into the woodland, there are water voles in the streams, and a thriving population of slow worms.
