A lot of people have asked who they can contact either to ask questions about the Wiltshire Housing Site Allocation Plan (henceforth known as WHSAP) or to register their objection to it.
The Wiltshire Council Cabinet member with responsibility for spatial planning, which includes WHSAP, is Councillor Toby Sturgis: Toby.Sturgis@wiltshire.gov.uk
For those who wish to question, comment on or object to the Church Lane proposal, Councillor David Halik, who sits on Trowbridge Area Board and is Church Lane’s local councillor, says he is happy to receive any communication about Church Lane or any of the allocated sites in Trowbridge. His email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
RPS, who presented the proposal for Church Lane in St John’s Hall on July 5th, left feedback forms without an address. This will reach them: 260 Park Avenue, Aztec West, Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4SY.
Southwick Division’s councillor, which includes Southwick Country Park and the allocated sites at Southwick Court and White Horse Business Park, is Cllr Horace Prickett: Horace.Prickett@wiltshire.gov.uk
Cllr Halik recommends that objections sent to the Planning Department should be recorded in some way. He usually asks residents to copy their emails to him and always ask for a read receipt. He is happy to meet with people to answer their questions and discuss their objections.
The Planning Office email address is: email@example.com; the postal address, if I have correctly navigated Wiltshire Council’s maze of a website, is: Spatial Planning, Economic Development & Planning, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN.
